Dr William Chik Electrophysiologist
Heart Rhythm Expert for Patients with Heart Rhythm Issues
Dr William Chik, electrophysiologist and specialist cardiologist, provides consultations for patients experiencing abnormal heart rhythm disorders, including sensations of fluttering, rapid heartbeat, pain, or discomfort. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of arrhythmias, conditions in which the heart beats too fast or too slow.
The signs of irregular heart rhythm disorders can present themselves as palpitations, breathlessness, dizziness, heaviness, pressure, or light-headedness in your chest, jaw, back, or shoulders. If left untreated, individuals are at risk of developing serious complications, including stroke, heart failure, sudden cardiac arrest and cognitive decline.
Dr William Chick delivers the highest standard of care. As a heart specialist, he uses minimally invasive procedures to protect and improve heart health, offering personalised cardiac care for every patient.
He works in consulting rooms across the Sydney metropolitan area, including Bella Vista, Auburn, Chatswood, Westmead, and North Ryde, where he gives specialist assessment and treatment for abnormal heart rhythm symptoms and advanced heart care, such as rapid heart rate (tachycardia), high blood pressure (hypertension), and heart rhythm problems (arrhythmia). His cardiac practice provides comprehensive care for heart rhythm disorders, using advanced techniques for rapid heartbeats.
Diagnosing Irregular Heart Rhythm: Types, Symptoms and Treatment
Dr Chick's patients receive personalised care that combines the latest technology with proven clinical expertise. This evidence based approach helps him to achieve the best outcomes for his patients. People without symptoms may not need treatment, as Dr William Chick can often watch their condition and manage it in a careful, non-surgical way together with your primary care doctor or general practitioner.
Specialist Cardiologist for Patients with Heart Failure Issues
Dr Chik also sees patients with heart disease and heart failure. This covers conditions like Adams-Stokes disease, atrial flutter, sick sinus syndrome, sinus arrhythmia, and Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome.
